The Undercurrents a poemusic band

undercurrent, n. 1. undertow, underset, riptide, crosscurrent, countercurrent. 2. undertone, overtone; hidden tendency, drift, trend; implication, suggestion, connotation, hint, murmur; latency, hidden feeling; atmosphere, tenor, aura, flavor.

The Undercurrents bring together three drifters to reel spoken word through song and music: John Emery on guitar and lead vocals, Katie Daley on spoken word and back-up vocals, and Jeff Grau on mandolin, electric & slide guitar, and harmonies.
